Is there an Easter Break code watch thread yet? I know that there are March and April threads, but so many of the codes being posted there are blacked out over our dates. Last year people were able to book at a discount over Easter. Any news for this year? :scratchin

Glad I found your thread. I was just going to start one with the same idea.

We're going during the black-out dates (of course), but are really hoping for some sort of discount.

So far I have a room-only reservation made with the AAA discount... Really not enough of a discount to make me actually go to WDW...

Anyone find a better discount than that? :confused3

I went during the April break 2008 and there were no discounts...in 2009 they allowed you to book the 4/3 deal. It will be interesting to see what they do for 2010!

I had booked offsite during Easter 09, until the 4/3 deal came out. It would be nice if they had a deal available for Easter this year as well!!!

Count me in too. My TA just emailed me that I"ll get the gift card thing but I am confused. Our dates are 3/26 to 4/5, so that falls during the blackout dates except for our arrival date. If she told me wrong I'll be very bummed, but it does say arrival by 3/26 so maybe I will get it. If not, I am just still going to be hoping like heck they do extend something into our week. Not sure I'l ever go to WDW during this time frame again given the rack rates, holiday pricing on meals etc.

I hope we all get good news soon!:goodvibes

I'm actually hoping they DON"T release a code for the weeks surrounding Easter. Last year there were record-breaking crowds during that time and I suspect it was at least partially due to the 4/3 deal that was offered. I'm hoping if there are no codes or special discounts it will at least help keep the crowds down to a somewhat reasonable level.

I've been there a couple of times at Easter and it's always packed, whether or not there is a discount available. The parks are full and they close to capacity sometimes. They will make sure it's packed either way. If they can sell the rooms out without discounting, they will. Otherwise, I would expect them to discount. Full parks are good for the corporation, even if you don't like being there when they are full.

I'm still hoping for a discount!:goodvibes

Ditto! We've been there many, many Easter breaks and some parks have always closed during our stays. Resorts have also been sold out during our stays. Discount or no, people always flock to WDW at Easter time! :goodvibes

I'm hoping for a discount too. I will be at Disney World the week after Easter, and so far there are no discounts. Airfare is crazy too, so even a small room discount would be great!
