easter bonnet parade

My 3yr has been just started nursery and has his first easter bonnet parade, and i have to make one.....HELP... any one got any photos or ideas....

Oh we used to have one ! i got a plain straw hat and used gree crepe paper for the grass and then attached some small pastic chickens ( cake decorations) and some mini eggs

Kirsty if you go into poundland they have bonnet making sets and plain straw hats plus loads of things for decorations.

For a very simple idea make a headband of cardboard, cut out shapes of easter eggs or rabbits which your son can colour or decorate and stick them on the headband to make a crown. (I used to staple them on but had to make sure there were no sharp edges on the inside).
