Oh. I thought it was like the cookie exchange we do locally where we all bake 6 dozen cookies and then swap a dozen with 5 other girls and keep one for your own. You each end up with 6 dozen that you can then use for holiday gifts.

I mailed out the basket today. I had fun and ended up making similar baskets for my nieces. i may have got a bit carried away. I ended up with a few extras including one toy that didnt fit inside the basket.

I got my exchange from Michelle (snowwhitesmom). She sent me a really ingenious easter egg hunt in a box. Boy did it take me forever to open them all up!!!! She sent assorted candy, socks, bubble gum, rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and in the best smelling egg a YC votive. My favorite is the easter bunny rubber duckie.

I'm glad you had fun, Colleen - I had a great time trying to find things for those eggs! I am not crafty enough to make a special Easter basket, but I knew we were supposed to send things IN something, so I thought - "What's more appropriate than Easter Eggs!?" Besides, even adults like an egg hunt!

Finished shopping today and got it packed up, but tomorrow is such a busy day that it will probably be Thursday when I get it mailed.

Well I am doing pretty good on shopping for my easter pals, and Sulley and Zoie are almost done with their baskets too!!!

There will be some very happy kitties and doggies, the only problem we had is that we are a doggie household and have never had kitties................ so no idea on what to get, but the guy at petco gave us some ideas.......................................... it kinda reminds me of that Petco commercial where the employees test out the toys for the animals !!!
