easter and the week after

hi, we are having a nightmare time trying to arrange our next holiday, at the moment we are booked to go dec 07, but as ds will be in his gcse year we are worried about him missing to much work, the only other time we have is easter holidays, we couldnt go in summer as ds doesnt like the heat and it ruined our holiday last time as it was just to hot for him, we understand that it will be busy for easter, but does it go any quieter after easter is over, any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks susie2

Yes- it does get quieter the week after Easter

We're flying out Easter weekend again next year and will make the most of early starts while we're still jet-lagged the first week to avoid the crowds. We found that after the weekend (the one after easter) the crowds tailed off considerably

We were in Orlando for 3 weeks this last March/April

We flew home just before Easter weekend and noticed a massive increase in the queues and crowds that last week.
We found that we were there over Spring Break but didn't find the crowds to be a problem until the run up to Easter weekend

thanks for your replys, we would be flying the thursday before easter friday, and staying for 16 nights, so if we stayed in the hard rock hotel for easter and then moved over to the contempory the tuesday after easter, we should miss most of the crowds, do you think that would work?, then we would have front of line in universal when its busy, thanks again your advice is greatly appreciated susie2

Susie - that sounds like a good plan. We just stayed at the HRH and loved it. It was absolutely amazing!

The FOTL access would alleviate some of the busyness for you over Easter
