We will be in WDW for Easter and we've never done a trip during that time period before! Our 2nd day there will be Easter Sunday. Does Disney do anything Easter-related that day? Like egg hunts or special shows or anything? We will probably have the "Easter Bunny" hide eggs in our hotel room and we will still bring supplies to put their baskets together... Just wondering if there are any other activities going on. TIA!! :)

We stayed at WL for easter a couple of years ago and the resort had a candy scramble in the morning (divided by age groups) and then mickey, minnie and Mrs. Easter Bunny came by for pictures. Minnie even helped my youngest DS fill his candy bag. I think several of the resorts do this, but not sure if all of them do. We also had the gift shop make easter baskets for the kids that were delivered to our door Easter morning.

The parks don't do much. You can meet Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny at MK, and I think the parade might have them at the very beginning, but that's about it. There's an Easter egg hunt in World Showcase at Epcot that my kids enjoyed doing. There's a big egg hidden in each country that you can find. You can pay $5 for a map to fill in matching each egg with each country, then you turn it in to get a plastic egg. Sometimes they run out of those maps, but the eggs are still there.

Both the contemporary and GF have beautiful chocolate easter egg displays. Definitely make an effort to see those if you can!

Also, I know I lot of people complain about the crowds for Easter week, but we had THE best time during our Easter trip. It took a lot of planning, and we took advantage of morning 7am EMH every other day, but we had a fabulous trip. Weather was perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to go back during that time of year. Only downside is it's more expensive!
