Easter 2016

I am tentatively planning and Easter(spring break) trip for 2016. It will be me, my husband, my almost 4 year old and my just 1 year old.

We have off March 24-April 5th. Easter is the 27th. When would be the least crowded time. Go right after school March 24th (maybe drive so arrive on the 26th) Or go after Easter maybe 29th or 30th through april 3 or 4th.

What do you think? Which would be less crowded? Would summer be better (2nd week in june)

Any holiday or when kids are out of school is busy and more crowded at WDW. We just did our first Easter trip at WDW this past April. Yes, it was crowded but not the worst we've encountered. As far as June goes, that depends on when kids start their summer break. For us, in California, my daughters last day of school is usually May 30th.

My opinion is the second week of June would be less crowded.

Easter week is one of the 2 or 3 busiest weeks at WDW. Christmas week is the busiest, and it's close between Easter week and July 4 week for the second busiest.

We are debating between Easter week and June for this upcoming year.

I just don't know if there is a noticeable difference between an 8 crowd level (June) and a 9 (Easter). And maybe the 8 will feel more stifling if it's 20degrees hotter?

All our previous trips have been at off-season times, so I really have no reference

Yes, I know off season would be ideal but I am teacher now. We were planning to go this year early June but the grandparents backed out of the trip and we didn't want to do it without the extra help considering we will have a newborn (at or under 3 months.). Spring break is such a long nice break next year it looked so ideal. It will also be the new baby's first birthday.

You guys thing that even the first week of April will be slammed. Is it busier before or after Easter?

Both weeks-- the week of March 29 and the week of April 5---will have well above average attendance.

The "least busy" time in those two weeks will be the first few days of the week of the 29th, and the last few days of the week of the 5th. But attendance will be well above average the whole time.

I actually went for our Spring Break 2013, which is always 2 weeks before Easter/
I must follow our Spring Break School Schedule.
Weather was nice MOST of of vacation, with one or two days with rain.

I will tell you this....the closer it gets to Easter, the more crowded it gets.

I am planning for Mar 12/13- 19. Easter is 3/27, I BELIEVE.
