I just looked and noticed that Easter 2005 is at the end of March. The husband is wanting to go in March 2005 instead of October 2004. Easter was in March in 2002. Can anyone remember how this affected crowds and spring break or anyone care to predict? Would we be better off going last week of February or first week of March?

Also, I just don't like to go when there is a chance of snow storms cancelling the flight or flu season. Does trip insurance that is offered cover these conditions?

Thanks!
Jodi

Easter time 2002 was anticipated to be a somewhat lighter Easter time according to Disney because of the overall decline in bookings following 9/11. Didn't turn out that way. Packed to the gills and typical Easter crowded if not more so. Think 12 noon and you are at Splash Mountain and want to walk to the main cirle hub in front of the Castle; now think that it will take 30 minutes because the street is so packed. Another thought: have you ever imagined being at the beginning of Main Street after entering and looking down the street toward the Castle and you literally cannot see the street or sidewalks but only bobbing heads packed next to each other. That is your typical Easter when it falls in late March. It is about 4 to 5 times the crowd you get in late Feb/early March. Not sure how trip insurance would work because I never buy it.
