Up at 7:30-8 (depends who you ask!), had some of our room food for breakfast then got the bus to MK (we figured that with the ferry/monorail dance involved when driving there the bus is quicker) and arrived a bit after 9.
Not our first MK visit of the trip, but out first visit when it was light!
We made a beeline for Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin and got fastpasses then waited in the very short standby line. Steve wanted to test Tourguidemikes Buzz tips so two rides at a minimum was a must! After ride number one we walked to Fantasyland to ride the Mad Tea Party and Peter Pans Flight which were both very short waits.
By then Toontown was open so we walked through there to visit Minnie and Mickeys houses and get a photo with them in the judges tent. So much better to visit this area early, it gets so jammed later on.
Minnie is clearly a girl after my own heart!
Next stop was Frontierland so we got the train there and waited in the standby line for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (sign said 30 minutes but they were just adding another train so it was more like 15) Next up was the Haunted Mansion and lunch at Columbia Harbour House. We both had sandwiches, tuna for me and veggie for Steve but he wasnt keen on his (he enjoyed the crisps and cake though!) After lunch we walked through Fantasyland again and watched Philharmagic before heading to Tomorrowland to use our Buzz FPs. It was close to time for a break by now so we headed towards the park exit, stopping on the way for ice-cream cookie sandwiches from the Main Street Bakery and another photo with my favourites Chip and Dale, heavy on the antics as usual!!

The MK autumn decor is so pretty
We caught the bus back to CSR and had a nice couple of hours rest. At 3:15 we drove to Hollywood Studios and checked in for our 4:00 ADR at 50s Prime Time Café. It was packed but we were seated quickly, I got a kick out of how they call you to say your table is ready! I ordered the meatloaf and Steve had the vegetarian option which was a roasted pepper. The food was OK but felt like it had been prepared in a rush: Roasted pepper was a bit of a stretch, more like stuck under the grill for five minutes! The desserts was great, smores for me and a vanilla malt for Steve. The atmosphere and setting is definitely the selling point of this place in my opinion. Although we didnt experience many antics other than being told to set the table we did see various goings on at other tables! After dinner we strolled around the park and did my favourite attraction Muppets 3D then we headed to the Hollywood Hills Amphitheatre around 6 for Fantasmic, picking up a Tower of Terror FP on the way. We scored some great seats near the back in the centre and though it was a long wait til 7:30 it was worth it as Steve got some great photos, I think the tripod really helps here.
