Easily added a watch face to my magicband

those are UGLY....actually...FUGLY ugh come on on disney for 17 bucks thats horrid, and i thought they had more taste than that.

I purchased the Minnie one and it fits good on the side of the magic band with the holes. The other side is a tad too wide to slide it up very far. I would prefer it on the other side so I could put magic bandits in the holes, but what can you do

The Minnie was glued between the original watch pink band and the Minnie black rubber slider piece, so I had to carefully slide a rounded nail file between to loosen the glue. After I finally got it unattached, it was perfect. I was careful not to rip anything by being too rough.

Thanks or the plug. As you can see by the matching pictures, that was the guest blog that I wrote after I had posted a pic on their FB page with my newest MB Watch. For the $17 Disney wants, I could buy 2 or 3 slap watches and make much cuter MB watches myself.

For those who are big CARS fans, I think there is a Lightning McQueen slap watch also.

In regards to the Mickey Mouse one you used, I read on Amazon that when someone got it, the color for Mickey's face was a pink, and not a light tan color... did you find that to be true?

My response was in regard to the poster who thought that this was a new idea that Disney might pick up on.

Well, at least the Minnie one is cute.


Yesterday, I found some of those slap watches on line and since I picked orange for the color of my Magic Band this time, I ordered the one that looks like Nemo.

Now the Minnie official one is cute. I would consider it if the price was not outrageous, if it's waterproof, and if it slides up the other side of the band without the holes. My slapwatch one only fits on the hole side, thus I cannot use all the bandits I'm wanting to use.

The Minnie watch is cute but only matches the polka dot band. The black Mickey one is hideous and I'm actually stunned and disappointed that Disney would even put out something so blah and so 1985. But creating your own watch as originally posted is a great idea. I ordered the orange magic band. I have a Goofy watch at home; hopefully I'll be able to incorporate that onto the band. Thanks for the great idea.

I purchased a Mickey Watch from Amazon and attached it to my magic band using a hair tie. It worked great!

It was Best Aunt who revived the sleeping thread with THIS post.

But, it doesn't matter.
The new information is very relevant to the thread.

AND-

I just got TODAY (via Amazon Prime) one new Mickey slap watch HERE and one new Minnie slap watch HERE and each "head" is now fitted nicely on our two MBs from our last trip!!

(And, yes, the Mickey watch is the color shown in the Amazon listing ["tan-ish" and not "pink-ish."] Minnie's polka dots ARE pink.)

It was just announced today that Disney is going to be selling watch faces to embellish magic bands and they are going to be rolling out soon!
