easily able to get ADR's for Labor Day weekend?

i just made ADR's for September 1st-5th for 4 people.
i got exact times i wanted and the only restaurant i couldn't get an ADR for is skipper's canteen.

considering how difficult it seems to be lately to get ADR's even at 180+10 i find it a bit odd that i was able to get my ADR's so easily especially during a holiday weekend.

i booked Boatwright's Dining Hall, BOG lunch, Sci-fi lunch, GG dinner, and 1900PF breakfast.
so other than BOG nothing insanely popular but i've had a hard time getting some of those ADR's in the past.

is this a sign that it may not be all that crowded during that time this year or is it because people are waiting for free dining to be offered before they book their ADR's?

i booked mine in anticipation of free dining because i figured its less stressful than trying to do it after free dining comes out and i'm just so shocked at how much availability there is.

I had no issues getting anything on my 180 day mark and we are going Sept 3-10th. BOG was the only one we couldn't get for dinner because at that time, hours for all MK restaurant only went to 6pm. They just opened them up last week, so we were able to get our dinner adr for 9/4. And there are still ADR's for BOG dinner popping up through out the week we'll be there. It was a whole lot easier getting ADR's for this trip, than it was for November last year, that's for sure.

It is typically not a crowded week to begin with since so many schools are just going back or just went back in August. Part of the reason why we chose that week this year, to take a break from the November crowds.
