My mom just got back from a trip. She wants to put her pictures up on a webpage so she can share them with the family. Mom is *not* the most web savy person in the world. She can send an email or two, but that's about it.

Any advice on the easiest to use website for posting and sharing pictures? Easy of use, registration, etc.

Thanks,

I use SmugMug but you have to pay. I find it easy to use & easy for other people to use no matter what size monitor they have or what type of internet connection. And everyones photos look awesome on SmugMug. I think its the black background. :goodvibes Backgrounds are changeable.

I didn't find Flickr easy at all for sharing albums with people.

Photobucket is free, but full of ads that some people on slower internet connections find wicked annoying. Its also not nice for viewing albums.

I could PM you my SmugMug albums if you want to check it out.

I use Facebook for that stuff now. So easy.

I use Snapfish.

It's free, and once you download the photomover tool they have, all you have to do is stick your memory card in the computer (or connect your camera) and it will connect to the snapfish website and start uploading the pics automatically. :thumbsup2

You can say whether you want them in a new or existing album, and name the album. Then it's easy to go in and put captions, and edit if needed. It's also very easy to share. :goodvibes
