Easiest way to get to Grand Floridian and Polynesian from AKV?

What is the easiest/best way to get to the Polynesian and Grand Floridian resorts from Kidani Village? We will be staing at AKV and have dinners planned at both Ohana and 1900 Park Fare. We will have our own vehicle, so driving is an option. I am not familiar with the guest parking at either resort, so I'm not sure if driving or Disney transport would be best. The only way I know of for either resort is to take the AKV bus to MK and the boat to the resort. Are there other options? Thanks!

IMO ... Taxi is probably the easiest/best way. If you take the Bus to the MK ... You could take the monorail from the MK to the resort instead of the boat.

If we drive ourselves-is the parking near the entrance of the resort?

Driving yourself is the best option. There is convenient self parking at the Poly. Self parking at the GF isn't so convenient as it is across the road from the resort.
