Easiest type of villa to secure during Easter at Aulani & RCI question

We are planning our second visit to Aulani in March 2018 (Easter) and using our DVC points for both sides of our family so they can come as well. We went at Easter last year and had no problem getting a 2 bedroom ocean view villa exactly 7 months out.

First question, are the studios the most difficult to get? That is about the most we can offer each family and we would need 3 of them (we will get the 2 bedroom for ourselves).

Rumor has it of all the villas a 1 bedroom is the easiest to secure but curious if anyone has further insight?

Second question, has anyone had success with a RCI request for Aulani? My mom is a member of Hilton Grand Vacations and can exchange points through RCI for Disney. Curious if anyone has had luck securing a RCI Aulani reservation?

There used to be a small possibility if you had a very old ongoing search for anytime. But I haven't seen any reports of Aulani matches on the TUG forums for over a year.
