easiest and what size luggage for train?

I have another question...how early do you have the town car pick you up at your resort to go back to the train station? I know it says to arrive 30 minutes before hand, but factoring in traffic and everything..what time should I schedule the pick up? My train departs the Orlando station at 7:24pm.

Thanks for your help! I'm taking the earlier train. So, the first train picks me up at 9:51am and arrives in Philly at 10:41am. Then i'm departing philly at 12:35pm. So, I have almost 2 hours between trains. I only live an hour from Philly, but parking there is about $21 a day. So it was cheaper for me just to take the train that's 5 minutes from me.

Not as hard as you think.....

We have a car service do the picking up and delivering and they tell us when they are coming....it's been 2 hours before train arrival...It seems long but I'd rather be waiting longer than just making it, especially if I want leaving out of Orlando. We leave from Kissimmee, way smaller station and about 10 people board there....quick stop....on and away in 15 minutes.

Not sure about other car services but ours monitors the train schedules and arriving times so if we're running late....they know and are still waiting for our arrival. I even call them when we're about in Jacksonville to let them know how it's going.....

Have a great trip and enjoy riding the rails....only way to fly!!

I can vouch for being at the station early. :guilty: I used to ride the train once a month from one parent to the other. One defiant day at age 15, I pushed the limits a little too much and missed my train. I was at the shoe store with my boyfriend instead of "getting my rear" to the train station. I arrived 5 minutes before my time to find that my train had passed on by. Apparently the train doesn't stop at the station if no one is waiting to board or needs to get off.

One would think that I learned my lesson and am early everywhere. But look at my screen name.....So, are you late too? :rotfl2: I'm always late. :sad2:
