Easier to load ECV on bus or boat?

I'm staying at SSR by myself this weekend and I want to visit a couple of resorts while I'm there. Since I will be renting an ECV from Walker and have only ever used ECVs in the parks, I'm a little nervous about loading the ECV onto boats and buses. Is one more difficult than the other? Here are the two resorts I'll be visting where I have a choice between boat and bus. What would you suggest?

SSR to WLV --- Should I take a bus to MK and then transfer to a boat to get to WL? Or is it easier to just stick with buses? Or do buses even travel between MK and WL?

SSR to OKW --- I see there is actually a path that goes between the two resorts (through the golf course) and I've read that this path is it's not lighted at night so if I'm able to go during daylight hours, is it safe enough for me to travel alone on my ECV along this path? And if it's after dark, would it be easier to load onto a boat to get back to the DTD/SSR area or catch a bus from DTD and then ride my ECV back to SSR? Time and distance aren't an issue...just wanting to know which is easier to load onto. I'd rather ride the ECV a long distance that deal with loading onto transportation if it's difficult.

Thank you much for your help!

I suggest you use the buses as much as possible. The bus drivers are very helpful to those who use ECVs.

Ok, then if I need to avoid the boats, what is the best way to get to WL? Since posting my question, I read that bus service between WL and MK must go through TTC. If that's the case then wouldn't it be easier to just take a bus from SSR to Epcot or HS and then transfer to a bus headed to WL?

I took the boat from MK and it was wonderful. CM was so helpful and it was so easy boarding. You have to try it!

I prefer the boats to the buses - but I hate loading the ECV on a bus.

That said, some of the bus drivers are great and make loading seem simple. With the boats, there are some that are not accessible, but "the next one" will be. I don't know if they have at least 2 boats on the "route" and at least every other one is accessible or how they do it, but I know I have only had to wait for the next boat once. I think the boats are easier, because for the most part the lay a ramp down to connect the dock with the boat and you just roll on. Getting off I have usually had to back off, but that is after everybody else has gotten off so it isn't that big of a deal.

I prefer the boat. If you need help loading your ECV on the bus, ask the driver. If you are able to transfer, they will usually load it for you if asked.
