Easier photo editing program?

First let me say I have an imac, so it would have to be compatible. LOL

I have photoshop cs5, but it is so complicated. I am wondering if there is an easier photo editing program. Just the basics, like changing sizes, text.... Easy stuff.

There have been many threads where someone asked what software various DISigners use and, of course, I don't know where any are at the moment.

I think that the How To sticky at the top of the forum has some of the info you are looking for. I recommend you take a look at that sticky!

Many of us use Photoshop Elements and many of us don't! There are many free tutorials on the web to teach how to use it.

There is way too much you can do on it. LOL Plus, sometimes when I save to the 1"x1" size it works, and sometimes it is bigger...

I will definately check out the sticky later. Gotta go pick up my daughter's friend.
