i sent my camera and lens into canon June 2...it was second day air but even though the ups store swore it would go out sat, didn't get there till Weds the 6th at 10 am....now the problem is i am worried as my warranty on my rebel xt is over tomorrow ( the 9th, i though i bought it closer to the end of the month but maybe that is when i got it rather than when it was shipped) and i haven't heard anything from canon including confirmation they got the camera( i know they did via ups tracking) so how do warranties work? is the last day the cut off if they are working on it? if they haven't fixed it by then and it's the camera will i have to pay for it? any ideas?
had i known i would have sent it earlier but that is when i got the return shipping label from canon and till i found the receipt thought i had more time....:guilty:
 
you have record that it was recieved before the deadline, so you should be fine. Also, wasn't this for the lens, and not really for the camera? They wanted the camera to calibrate it with the lens. So the warrenty on the Lens should be the one in question, not the camera.
