Is it still at the Universal Studios?

Reason for asking is that it's never been mentioned.

Do you recommend it? or should we forget it?

yep....still there. This is my take: if you have time left after seeing/doing everything that's important to you, do it. Don't put it on a "must-do" list....kind of a "if you have time" attraction......

This attraction is divided into four parts.
The first is the "lobby" area, where they do a brief intro to special effects used in the movies and choose five volunteers. The second part is a film-and-talking show about some of the great movies Universal has done, and the use of mininatures in those movies. The third part is where you finally get to sit down. The volunteers take part in a few scenes highlighting the use of blue screens and other special effects.
Finally, part four is the ride where you get to experience a monster earthquake in a San Francisco subway station. You board the "subway car" and ride into the station where the earthquake occurs. Although some feel this attraction is not worth the time, I think it is definitely worth it the first few times. After that, part four is still pretty good, if you don't mind sitting through the first three parts again.

Sounds good! Thanx for the info.

my DH was one of the "volunteers" our last trip--I took great video of the presentation. As long as the lines are not overly long, it is a must-do for us. I wouldn't wait anything longer than 15-20 minutes though.

Have A Great Trip! :sunny:

I like it, and I'm pretty picky about theme park rides, but good advice so far, I would concur if the wait is only about 15-20 minutes, definitely do it, its pretty cool for an older ride if you ask me.

it is the last thing i would do there.......oh wait, a day in the park with Barney is.......... or maybe not........... i guess its a tie.

;) Sorry, but I love this show!!On our trip last week I was one of the volunteers. It was the last show of the night and everyone including employees were just horsing around and having a good time!!Go see it and judge for yourself! :thumbsup2
