We just got back from seeing the Earth movie and I highly recommend it. It was beautiful. My DH & I both thought it was classic Disney.

Great, relaxing movie.

We wanted to take our daughter (she is four) but heard the hunting/fight scenes were a little rough. Thoughts?

Of course her daddies don't mind a good fight every now and again :lmao:!

Hi Robb!
The scenes where some poor herd animal gets munched are not very graphic. You understand what happened, but there is no blood or guts. The most graphic is when a pride of lions take out an elephant, but it is in the dark, so you can't see anything. There is another scene when a cheetah catches a deer-type animal, but you can't see him eat it. The most moving part involves the polar bear daddy (sorry!) and he starves to death. We took our daughters (ages 7 & 9) and they each brought a friend. They didn't understand the polar bear died because they used the word perished instead. Our oldest daughter mentioned she thought parts were scary. Mostly they kept saying "wow" and "cool" alot. Oh, there is also a scene with a great white shark who eats a seal, but if you don't know that is what is happening, you would just think he was jumping out of the ocean.

The scenery is "cool" :rotfl2: and the soundtrack is perfect. The narrator is James Earl Jones. His voice was made for this movie.
