Was tonight.
Did you participate?
What'd you do?

I did! I played cribbage with my parents by candle light.
So much fun! :goodvibes

No.
I had fallen asleep and still had my TV on.

It doesn't bother me really. I'm fully aware of global warming and I do my part. We recycle (we've actually always recycled - it's news to me that this is relatively recent), we reuse bottles when we can, we use energy efficent lightbulbs, we turn things off if we're not using it (I'm big on lights), etc.

I TOTALLY forgot!! I was planning to, and I just... forgot. ):

i feel kind of lame about it... :|

Sydney invented earth hour
*does the "sydney invented earth hour" dance*
YEAH! :D

Yeah.

Only I did though, nobody else in my family did. -_-
I lit some candles and did some yoga and then wrote a few poems for class.
It was nice. :)

We recycle aluminum cans and I take all the paper I don't need at home and put them in the recycling boxes at school too. I want to do more, but there isn't recycling plants for things such as plastic near here. It's annoying.

I did. I turned off everything except the TV. I did have my laptop on, but I turned off the charger. Then my dad turned on a light in the kitchen to get our dinner ready.

Though, i'm always going round the house, turning off all the lights (that for some reason are on even in the daylight), anything that doesn't really need to be on, etc. But after I turn them off, they're always back on 10 mins later.

I had no idea. Nobody mentioned it to me.

Yeah.

All of the lights in my house were off.Me,my sister, and my mom lit candles and played trouble. My dad came home and turned on the laptop and the tv.I was so mad. But those were the only things on.

Awww Darn!!! Vaya!

I completely forgot about EartnHour. You know, that really sucks. I was determined to do all i could to help.
I'm gutted now!

No, I couldn't.
I was over my grandma's celerbrating my mom's b-day and my 3 year old twin cousins were there so im sure they would have gotten scared ot something.

No

I was at a party so we couldnt turn the power off because all there was to do was dancing and they had to cook the food

MY parents didnt do it at my house either, one house isnt going to make a difference and my dad already uses energy saving bulbs in the house:)

Call me an *** if you want, but never had, and never will have the intention of participating.

I do anyway. My lights are almost always off. They're only on right now beacuse it's dark-ish outside due to the rain.

We forgot about it until like 15 minutes into it. I want to do whatever I can to help the enviroment but I don't believe in Global Warming. If we had Global Warming why was it like under 30 degrees everyday of Winter this year?

I participated. We watched the KCA's during it. It was really relaxing.

nope.
i have been typing an essay for hours.
and to be honest, i prolly wouldn't have anyway.
but for those who did, i think it was a pretty cool idea.
