Ears pierced

1st earlobes: age3, some place like Claire's in the mall.
2nd earlobe: age 13, the "dazz" similar to Claire's
3rd earlobe: age 14, piercing pagoda in the mall
rook: age 15, pin cushion (professional piercing parlor)
4th earlobe: age 16, done by me in a hotel in Germany; i took it out one day and let it close
cartilage: age 17, body extremes (professional piercing parlor)

Anyone that has sensitive ears, or is thinking of getting a piercing besides their lobes, try using H2Ocean to clean it in the shower. DONT USE RUBBING ALCOHOL. H2Ocean is really gentle, and you just need to move the ring around a little and rinse right before you get out of the shower, and pat it dry. I used it for my rook, 4th & cartilage and it worked so much better than that crap they give you at claire's.

I totally agree with that part. I've never used nor heard of H2Ocean, so I can't speak on that topic, but rubbing alcohol is one of the worst things for a new piercing. It will burn a bit, but it will also prolong the healing process. Don't use anything petroleum based, either as that is super bad for a piercing. At the very least use a saline solution. Mix a small amout of salt with bottled water (not tap simply because most tap water carries impurities, even with a filter). Put it in a cup, hold it upright so it isn't spilling out, bend over and place the ear you want to clean in the cup, then tilt is so the cup is upside down. Hold that for about 30 seconds.

Chlorine is also bad for new piercings! Means very little swimming in pools if you get them pierced in the summer.

I had mine done three times and I got them at Pearsing Pergoda and they were really nice!
I Had them done when I was ten and I didn't hurt and it was like a little pinch!!

What's a rook?

Thank you so much everyone. I think I might ask sometime this week.

I had mine pierced ever since I was a baby and I put on earrings all the time so I never had to have them redone. Although I'm thinking about getting my secong hole...;)

I have been wanting to get my ears pierced, but I don't know how to ask/tell my mom. I am going school shopping about a week before school starts and was thinking "hey, they have a Claire's in the mall, maybe I could get my ears done there?" Well like I said, I don't know how to tell or ask her. She had hers pierced when she was my age also. So. Where did you get your pierced? How old were you? Did you have a hard time asking you mom or whoever? Did it hurt?
