Ears at the parks

I usually have my headband ears at WDW, but I usually do not wear them all day every day. I usually wear them the entire first day and then it depends on what I am doing each day on if they are worn all day, partially or not at all.

Could it be that DL has more one and two day trips and so they are seen more frequently?

I know when I do a one day visit to WDW, I do wear my ears all day. I also know that at MK I seem to see more people with ears and kids dressed up than at other parks.

I didn't think they'd be popular when I went in March and seemed like a lot of people wore ears. But I refuse to spend $25 on a pair of ears I'm only wearing once or twice a year. So I made my own!

DH and I both wear ears when we are at WDW. I prefer the headband ones because I have a really big head and the hat ones don't fit very well. DH likes the hats and has lots that he alternates depending on where we were going and what characters we might be meeting that day.

There were definitely people wearing them in WDW but not to the extent we're used to in DL.

Many people wear them at WDW, but maybe not- as some have said- as much when it is warm.

As others have said, I don't think they are very comfortable. If they move around, your hair is a hot mess. It turns into giant tangle.

We don't wear stuff at WDW that isn't comfortable.

I think wearing merchandise is down just a bit as prices have gone up. We still see a fair amount at WDW, but not quite as much as in years past, IMO.

We were at DW for the first time last week, and both we and the friends we were with independently commented on how many fewer ears there were.

At DL, most APs I know have ears and wear some on every trip, so that may be part of it...

I always wear mouse ears when I'm in the park.
