Has anyone used Earplanes for their kids? If not, what did you use to keep your small childs ear's from popping on plane? Besides gum, we don't let dd have gum yet.

*thank you*

we used them for our young sons, dh swears by them, and I wasnt taking chances with DS's!!

Instead of gum, try tootsie rolls, or licorice, milk duds....

You can get ear planes now for under $10 (around 5 I think!) at WalMart, they didnt have the child size at our Target, but WalMart had them!

We got ours at Walgreens. I thought they helped some, but my DS8 still was bothered by the preasure changes. He said that going home (with) was less painful than the trip down (without). He and I got hit horribly on the trip down. I almost rented a car to come home! We used Mentos on the way home too! Lots. They were good and chewy. Love the milk dud suggestion.

We have also used gummy snacks or lolly pops when our ds was finished with his pacifier, but before he could be trusted with gum.

As soon as we were on our way, I saved the lolly pop for later. (They make me as nervous as gum).
