Have read to avoid the parks on Early Open days for Disney Resort guests and we are not staying at a Disney Resort - what about the parks that stay open later for Disney Guests - are they not a good choice to go to on that day also? 12 weeks until our 1st trip!

First off... Hope you find all the answers you need here.

I found when I was at WDW last year that it was easiest just to avoid parks that are running EMH. If you do need to go to a park on a certain day that is running EMH, go to one that is staying open late. People staying at a Disney resort will generaly go to this park later in the day. At least that's what I experienced last time.

Hi there - Welcome!

The way we do it - let's say it's EMH (morning) for MGM, well we'd go in the afternoon. By that time, the early folks had left the park. When it was EMh (evening), we'd go early that morning, etc. We didn't really follow any rules. We just went along. But on some days, we did follow that plan.
