Earmuffs in June? Update 7/5 Trip Report Link!

2 more sleeps!!! I'm kinda sad the time is almost here! I know it is going to fly by. But I need to focus on the now and having a great time!!! Tomorrow is massive packing day. I have the kids' stuff all baggied up. I am rewashing all of scott's and my shirts. We have a front loader washer and they are known for sometimes creating stinky clothes. My MIL hasn't been leaving the washer open, and few loads have been left in too long. All the shirts smell sour. So, I ran several bleach cleans and am hoping for the best. It's really not fun to feel stinky at WDW! We will be packing the car tomorrow night and then will be leaving on Tuesday afternoon! Yay!

I've had a super fun weekend. Friday I went to the New Kids on the Block/Backstreet Boys concert. I didnt really feel like going and then was so glad I did. It was great! Yesterday I had a meet up from a message board I joined when Ethan was a baby. 6 of us met up in a town near us. We had women from Canada and around the US. It was a great time. Today we went to church and then to six flags for a couple hours (Scott's father's day wish was to see the new show that opened last week). It's nice to be able to pop in just for a few hours. Scott cleaned out the van tonight while I kid wrangled and did some alterations on a few of Sophie's dresses that had really long straps. Successful weekend!!!

I have lots of respect for those of you who fly. You must exercise some great restraint while packing!!! I have packed half my house, and this is with a super organized packing list of only must haves. Granted I'm packing for 3 kids and myself (Scott throws his stuff together in 5 minutes before we leave). I've been "packing" for 2 weeks and STILL just spent the last 5 hours finishing up. I still have a few things to gather. Mainly some laundry I'm waiting for and some devices that are charging. Scott has to shave the boys' heads tonight and pack up the car. He will go to work in the morning and is leaving early, so he'll be home by 2 pm. Im going to spend the morning recleaning the house and following the kids cleaning after them! Hopefully we'll get on the road right away!!! I'm so excited!!!

I'm so excited for you!!! I laugh because my DH shaves our boy's heads, too, before any vacation! Your house sounds so similar to mine. And you will do anything and everything you can tomorrow to keep yourself busy to pass the time til Scott gets home... I totally get that! Again, have a wonderful time and can't wait to hear all about it when you get back! Drive safely!
