Thank you! It wasn't always this bad. When the owner's husband was our director, it wS wonderful. Then he retired. We have a new director now, who is fine, but she doesn't have freedom to do what she would like. Luckily the owner is at our other location in another suburb most of the time. And I should say that she never yells AT the kids or in front of the kids. Its usually on the phone or at meetings. The school is professional in that way, it's just her staff skills that are terrible.

I'm way behind on your actual PTR, but I'll be sending some prayers for you!

I'm hoping for a transfer of my own this year, and all of the school gossip has it going my way, so...! I won't know my tentative assignment until June 1st, and it won't be definite until I walk in the door of my classroom on the first day. I know exactly what you mean about being consumed by it as I've been in the exact same place for about 3 weeks now. I think about it all the time. We'll get though it!

I just realized that I never replied to your reply. Lol. No, my DH and I didn't honeymoon at Disney. We actually had family coming from literally the 4 corners of the US, so we stayed close to home. My DSS (who was 3 at the time) was our ring bearer. Our time with him was precious, so we didn't want to lose any of it. We got full custody when he was 8, so I get to see him every day now!

And I totally understand your need for earmuffs. Lol. My boys fight constantly. My big kid picks on my little one and then the little one starts screaming. Loudly. It always seems to happen in the car on the way home in the evenings.

We needed shampoo and toothpaste, so why not take a drive the the target in the same mall as the Disney Store! Sounds like a plan to me! Sophie was eyeing the vinylmation on our last trip to the store and really wanted to get one. I decided to let her use one of her gift cards on it even though it was technically supposed to be used on our trip. When we arrived there, we discovered that vinylmation was on sale for $5 with a $20 purchase! Sophie chose hers from the "have a Laugh" series. Ethan and Finn weren't satisfied with their sister having all the fun, so I decided to let them pick one as well. They each chose from the Toy Story series. We got in line, and I grabbed a reuseable shopping bag to put me over $20. Then I decided to preorder "Tangled." Doing this would make me eligible for one more of the vinylmations to be $5 if I bought one more bag. So, I did, of course!!!! The kids were encouraged by the cast members to open them immediately. So they did...and the cast members started cheering! I will update with pictures of what they got during my lunch break!

He got Evil Dr. Pork chop! The mystery vinylmation!

Like I said, the cast members were all so excited for him! Then he looks up at me and says, "mom, I want Buzz. Can I trade now?". Ummm...nope...you'll be getting a new chance at the parks. We'll keep this one!

Oh, and as Finn is walking out, he drops Bullseye and the arm flies off. Nice. We hot glued it when we got home.

Yeah, Scott was still in target when I ventured to the Disney store. I was so anxious I even braved taking all three kids alone! They were so cute, though. They all held hands.

I saw that on amazon! Ebay's price is around $40. I have considered it, especially since Ethan really doesn't care, and I don't care to collect the toy story set. Scott vetoed it quickly. I have kept the box, card, and wrapping safe, though! When you go for a trade, obviously the figures should be in mint condition, right?

I just watched a video with Sophie on vinylmation trading. This girl is EXCITED! I will have to limit her. Perhaps I'll let her get 2 at the beginning of the trip and then if she has money left, she can get more at the end. Off to research the make your own variety.

Thank you so much! I'm still waiting, and praying! The school has had a busy couple weeks, and I'm wondering if they perhaps have a timeline for interviews or something. My hopes have been sinking a bit, but I'm still praying! I don't think we'll be trading any of the ones we just got. But with the coupon we got from preordering tangled, I think we'll get the kids one more each to open at our first hotel on the way down. Plus we're going to get them each a plush to have waiting for them in the hotel.
