Early Wishes on Dec. 22 - will it change?

I have been planning my DH's birthday trip to Disney in December for months now. We have a 6:55 p.m. Be Our Guest reservation for dinner, and then I was going to get a fast pass for Wishes so we could leisurely enjoy dinner and then walk to the fast pass viewing area. Wishes was previously scheduled for 9:00 (or was it 9:30?) last year at that time, but when I went to make my fast pass reservation a couple of weeks ago, it is now at 8:00 (supposed to arrive 7:35-7:55)! I keep checking to see if they move it to later, but so far they haven't.

Do you think it will stay that early, or will they most likely move it back to 9:00? We'll skip the fireworks if they stay that early because we want time to enjoy the BOG atmosphere, but it would be wonderful to end the night with fireworks.

I'm hoping it will as well. We have scheduled California Grill on Christmas for 8:50, but noticed the fireworks are scheduled for 8 pm as well.

I was fully expecting a time change for the 8 pm fireworks on Nov 4 with an EMH 1 am closing. But it remained at 8 pm. However, I think the timing worked out good with MSEP, Celebrate the Magic, and A Frozen Holiday Wish...

We have the same problem with our Crystal Palace ADR. I'm hoping they will let us leave to watch the fireworks from the balcony and then come back in to finish our meal.

Most everyone believes there will be schedule changes to the last 2 weeks in December.
I looked back at when the changes came in Dec 2015 and I saw an announcement on 11/17

I hope not. We made our plans with the 8pm show in mind. I have seen this question pop up before, is it common for the time to change? I know hours change but did not realize fireworks or parades changed much. I will admit though that 8pm did seem early as I always seen them around 10pm.
