Hello, we are two adults that love the MK but are wondering about this. If we plan to get there at Rope Drop anyway, will an early morning ressie before the park opens help us get to the rides sooner? Is the noise level alot more early morning and the character greetings quicker? I really want o have a good breakfast meal and heard the food is good here.

We have never done this, but we plan to if I can get ressies at 8:05 for Sept. I would like a couple of good pictures of the castle without alot of people in them. I also feel we will be half way to SM and BTRR, so get a fast pass for one and go one the other. We have eaten at CP, dinner last year. It was good, butI have had better. No one can mess up breakfast!

Crystal Palace Breakfast is an absolute must do for us the food is great- try the honey yogurt  . We also will try to get as early a seating as possible; you get a bit of a head start heading deeper in the park, but it generally is noisy and crowded although I don't remember the greetings being quicker than anywhere else.

One potential advantage to an early reservation is that they'll be less likely to be running behind. ;)

We are not doing CP breakfast, but we are doing Tusker House and Playhouse breakfast...I scheduled LATE breakfasts for days that have Morning EMH...we will eat a quick snack in the room, we will go to morning EMH ride a few things, grab some fastpasses, then eat brunch 60-90 minutes after park opening, as the park starts to fill up...have a snack a few hours later...then it is dinner time

This way we are combining breakfast and lunch eating (and hey they are buffets, so it is not hard to eat enough)

If you are someone who avoids parks with EMH or staying offsite, this would obviously not be the strategy for you...but I just love brunch anyhow :)

We were there 2 weeks ago (wow, that long ago already, time to start planning another trip, lol!!) and we had an 8:25 ADR

We were there 2 weeks ago (wow, that long ago already, time to start planning another trip, lol!!) and we had an 8:25 ADR and it was GREAT!!! They sat us quickly, Pooh was actually at the table before us. It was a tad bit rushed but I think all character meals are. To see Main Street empty like that is absolutely worth it. I will do this breakfast every time we go with an early ADR, 210% worth it!

We've done both early a.m. (prior to park opening) and later in the morning.

We've done 8:05 a.m. and we've eaten and seen all of the characters and have been at the hub by 8:50 or 8:55 a.m. and head to the rides.

We've also gone for Extra Morning Hours and done all of Fantasyland and Tomorrowland and then a few things in Frontierland and Liberty Square when the park opens at 9:00 and then gone and had breakfast at 10:15.

We like both ways and don't have a preference (except for having the clear view of the Castle for the 8:05 a.m. seating).

By the way, love the puffed french toast and the potato casserole and the orange juice (and I'm not a big juice drinker).
