Early Tusker House Breakfast

Hey Gang,

We our doing our first ever pre-park-opening-breakfast (yay!) and I just want to make sure I understand the rules correctly. We have an 8am reservation at Tusker House on a day that AK opens at 9am. What time should we plan on arriving at the park to ensure we're in the gate and across the park in time - 7:30ish? Also, is there anything special we have to bring to get into the gate early (other than a ticket, of course). Do they scan the magicbands to confirm the reservation or do I need to bring anything printed out?

Anything else I should know?

We had an 8am ADR at Tusker House in March... If I remember correctly, I believe they let us in around 745am and we headed straight to check in. I would plan to get to the gates by 730am just to be safe. The CMs have a list of ADRs. I always bring confirmation numbers with me but I've never needed them.

I second what PP said-make sure you are at the gates by 7:30, and bring some sort of confirmation just as a back up. It's doubtful you'll need it, but it's always nice to have.

I agree with PP's - also, when you arrive, look for a 'breakfast reservations' sign. I think that when we were there last (August 2015) they were off to the side. Have fun! We love pre-park opening breakfasts

Agree witht eh PP's. 7:30 is good. When we arrived 15 minutes prior to our 8AM ADR we were in the line after the folks in front of us. WE were still okay time wise, but I have not let that happen again.

I just cancelled a breakfast reservation at Tusker House thinking I would be in before rope drop. Disney changed the park hours. Instead of opening at 9:00am they are now opening at 8:00am. As the time gets closer, check park hours.

0730 would be a great time to get there. Our issue in Aug was we drove to the park and no one was at the booths for parking. The light was green but not a sole in sight. We drove in and did have the best parking but felt bad. Once you walk up there will be plenty of CM asking what you are here for. They will let you know where to go from there. We did take time to walk to the Tusker House and got great pictures with no one in the back ground! Have fun! The Tusker House is our Fav place to go for breakfast!!

7.30am is a great time to get there. We had an 8.45am ADR back in August and we were allowed straight in at 8.00am. We got into the restaurant and seated earlier than our ADR time too.

Tucker House is lovely, we have an 8am ADR next month

We have an 8am reservation at Tusker House on a day that AK opens at 9am. What time should we plan on arriving at the park

1) The GATE-CM is a Tusker House SEATER, not a park CM.
2) They will let you into the park approximately 7:45am.
. . . frequently, anyone can get in early and go to breakfast
. . . even without an ADR
. . . the GATE-CM has the power to let those in without an ADR, and actually asks if anyone else wants to go to Tusker Breakfast
. . . and, yes, they do track such people, so they go into Tusker
. . . if they are using this as an excuse to gain early entry, they are escorted out of the park, and the day-ticket gets cancelled
3) If you have an ADR prior to 9:20am, you can enter at that time and be seated.
4) By a reciprocal arrangement with Tokyo Disney, any Japanese can enter early with a 10:00am ADR or earlier

NOTE: On days when the park opens at 8:00am, there is no Tusker CM to let people in early . . . There is no advance entry into the park for Tusker Breakfast ADR's. EVERYONE (all public guests) get let into the park at approximately 7:45am-7:50am and held at the Tree of Life for the Macaw opening show and Rope Drop Everyone is then let into the park, and those with ADR's can go to Tusker. Since Tusker is empty, you will get seated quickly.
