Early ticket pick-up with Magic Bands?

I know right now you can pick up tickets up to three days early. Does anyone know if this will still be true once Magic Bands are being used at all resorts? I'm hoping to do the bounceback free dining next August, but the August 20th start date is too late for us with my DIL being a teacher. So I thought we could arrive on August 17th, on a room only booking, but pick up our tickets 3 days early. Then we could start the free dining package on the 20th until the 25th. But if we can't pick up tickets early, it is too expensive for the 11 of us to have to do split stay with 3 day tickets and then 5 day tickets. Any ideas?
