This trip is a Sweet 16 present for our daughter (darn, we had to go along with her :teeth: ). Her birthday is in January, but "Jersey week" was the best time we could go (we are on the 3N 11/4 cruise. Do they do anything special for those kind of events? Though this is part of her present, it isn't really on her birthday. Should I bother saying anything to anyone? Would it matter if I did?

All thoughts appreciated.....

We celebrated our daughter's sweet 16 last January on the Magic. She asked for a cruise instead of a party. We informed our head server that we were celebrating her sweet 16. He asked us when we wanted to bring out the cake we told him what day. They brought out a really big cake with pretty decorations and candles. It seemed like everybody sang happy birthday to her. We also went to guestservices and booked the happy birthday room decorations package, they decorate the room for you with bday banners and centerpieces. This you can order when you get your documents. We bought presents for her on board, the giftshops wrapped these for us. Even though your daughter's birthday is in Jan, I would still have them do something because you are there to celebrate this very special occasion. Enjoy your cruise, and a very happy sweet 16 to your daughter!
