Early Sept, BWV, BCV or WL

Planning on going from Approx. Aug. 28 - Sept. 7 before school in NY. Own at SSR so not that concerned at making res. at 7 months at SSR or OKW which we really liked after staying there last year.

What are the chances of a 1 Bedroom being available at either BWV, BCV or WL at 7 months for that week. May stay at the Swan or Dolphin for 1st Fri. and Sat. night.

I think you will have a good chance at getting one of those.

We haven't gone that late in Aug, usually the 2nd week, but we've never had a problem getting reservations at any resort, even at the 5 - 6 month window. In general, I think 1-BRs are a little easier to get, too!

I think your chances would be quite good based on our experience!

My husband and I usually take a couples trip in September. We have never had a problem getting either a studio or 1 bedroom during the time frame you are looking for.

Our last stay was over labor day weekend at BCV. Suprisingly the parks are not that crowded. As a side note the schools in the south usually start in mid to late August so I think that helps a little.

We just did the first week of September (August 31 - September 6) at the BWV standard view. We didn't make our ressies until 4 months before. We ended up in a studio for August 31 (Sunday, Labor day weekend) and then a 2 bedroom for the rest of the stay. We were waitlisted for a 2 bedroom for that first night but it never came through.... no biggie!!

I think that if you call at the 7 month window, you shouldn't have any problems.

Booked a Boardwalk 1 bedroom standard view this year inside 5 mos for 9/14 - 9/19 stay. I called to cancel this reservation a few weeks later because of a work schedule conflict with DH and was able to get the same category and location for 8/29 - 9/5.

We booked a 1BR BCV this past year at the 7 month mark for Aug 31-Sept 8th. We had no problems at all and infact had a choice of rooms at check in.

The parks were pretty dead, the pool not crowded and last year our weather was great! (It was hot but almost no rain).

We only booked about 5 months out for our Sept trip (first 2 weeks) and we had our choice of every single resort. We were even able to get a value room at AKL for the first 8 nights.

We booked 1bedroom at WLV for this early Sept. at the 5 month mark and it was my 1st choice. I don't think that you will have any difficulty in getting your request.
