No Kidding! What a dissapointment if we can't see the Magic today. Below is another link that I use once in a while. You can "take control," swing it around and focus in on the Magic. Sometimes at sail-away you can get a good look.

It's parked in a different spot today too. Normally you can see it parked the long way but this time it's towards us and you can't see as much.

It's chilly there - windy and 57. Hmm, hope it warms up some!

I tried going to the Two Palms website, http://www.twopalms.com, but it is pointed to sea. Not sure if it always points that way or not.

Anyhow, on that site it has buoy reports.

There is one at 20 nautical miles east of shore, www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=41009, and another at 120 nautical miles east, www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=41010.

At 20 miles east, the temp is 55.2 degrees and the waves are 8.9 feet.

At 120 miles east, the temp is a little warmer at 57.2 degrees, but the waves are 17.1 feet.

Hope it warms up and calms down by the time we get there.

Regarding the weather...it's been unusually warm all week. The cold temps blew in over night The forecast says the temps are going back up! It should be near 80 next weekend!

Around 80 next weekend sounds great . Lets all hope this holds true!!!!

We have your standard black and green suitcases, but I wrapped the handles with bright blaze orange ducktape. We can see them suckers from a long way away.

Since DH and I work at an engineering and surveying frim, I have access to a plethora of different colored (very bright I might add) survey flagging. I have chosen a VERY bright lime green for this trip to place on the luggage handles. Oh won't that look lovely with our new floral tapestry luggage!

I just checked the two palms cam and it shows 61 and winds from the west at 23mph. At least the sun is out.

I just bought new luggage and got black. After reading all of your posts I'm so depressed that I didn't get a color to stand out. But thanks, Laurie, for the idea. i think i'll go visit our survey guys this week and bum some orange flags off of them.....!!!

I've been scrapbooking today (trying to get caught up before the big influx of cruise pics!!) I need to go clean it up, because tomorrow is serious packing day so that Monday can be the last serious shopping day for everything I'm missing!!)

I see all these cute kids, and think, Golly, why couldn't mine have stayed that little and adorable. I really want to make those stupid pirate chest LOL. Ok maybe I'll make one anyway for Mallory and put it on her bunk while she is out, and when she comes back it will have jewelry in it. I could put cash in it which would trill her to no end. KInda like a mini allowance. Any other suggestions of what I could put in the chest? She's 17.
