!!!! Early Roll Call for January 21 2006 Eastern Magic Cruise !!!!

I'm Craig 41, my wife Clarry 43, DD Makenna 6 and DD Alaina 3 turning 4 on February 12. We live in the country near the small town of Clintonville Wisconsin. I have lived my entire life here and Clarry moved here when she was about 8 from Chicago. We have 5 cats and 1 dog. This is our 3rd Disney cruise and will be in room 5520, cat 10. Our girls will be in the pools when they are not sleeping or at dinner. We try to keep our cruise plans to a minimum so we can just do what we feel like at the time.

Deck 10 starboard sounds good for a DIS meet. Can't wait to meet all of you.

Kevin,

Our DS is also a young 3 year old who is not potty trained. :scared1: Do you know whether Flounders accepts children over 3? I was under the impression that the nursery was only for children under 3. Thanks for the info.

Lisa

Lisa,

Yes, they do take 3 YO's that aren't potty trained at Flounder's Reef.

When I logged into disneycruise.com and brought up my ressie, there is a place to register your children. It has his age, and when I click potty trained, it says that he is eligible for Oceaneer's club, which is what we were hoping, but when I unclicked it a couple of weeks ago, it then said that he was eligible for Flounder's Reef and allowed me to book the time.

Maximum of 10 hours for the trip. $6 per hour billed to your room. I booked 3 hours on Sunday, 2 hours on Monday, 2 Hours on Thursday and 3 hours on Friday (while we take our 5 yo snorkeling).

That's so kewl :cool1: that everyone told a little bit about themselves. I feel like I already know you guys!! I can't wait for the party on Deck 10. I'm waiting for my braclets to come so no braclet dance yet for me. Well for the single digit dance will have to wait until torrow. LOL ::MinnieMo Wow I'm like so besided myself I can't stand it. I cancel the massage and got one for Thursday at 915 which I think is a bit better. Now for a Pirate outfit I've no glue what to do!!!! :scared1: I think I'll be heading to AC Moore torrow and seeing what if anything I can find to make a pirate shirt. I think I shall start my list of things not to be overlooked. Packin? I've haven't done ANY!!! Yikes  ok now would be a good time for a apple martini! lol :flower3:

Not to get you worked up or anything, but if you have the PLA rotation, your character breakfast will be Thursday morning. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

Now for the good news, as for the Apple Martinis, there is a Martini Sampler thingy sometime on Sunday or Monday. You'll have to look at the Navigators. I think DW is looking at possibly doing that.

Are you sure about the Character breakfeast? Maybe that is why it was available. How do I find out about my rotation dinner is? Golly I can not miss going to a Character Breakfeast!!!! ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo and miss these guys?

Kevin,

Thanks! I registered Henry for the clubs a few months ago, hoping he would be potty trained. I hope Flounders still has time available. He was there a few years ago...the staff was very sweet. Maybe Christopher and Henry can attend a session or two together so that they have another "big boy" to play with. :flower:

Scubabeck,

My daughter attends tennis boarding school in Tampa during the week. She did not check her aol account last night. I told her to be sure and look for an email from Mallory. She said she'd look tonight. :sunny:

Let's see, I think I've already blabbed everything about us. My husband and I (Tim and Lisa) are in our late thirties. We're from Michigan (we met freshman year at MSU...go Spartans!), but we've lived in Celebration, FL for more than three years. We have two children, Julia who is 16 and Henry who is 3. Yes, we are nuts! ;) This will be our sixth Disney cruise...while we enjoy WDW, we definitely prefer the cruise. In general, we enjoy hanging with the kids and traveling, when time allows. We're looking forward to our upcoming week onboard and to meeting all of you! :flower3:

Great! We can do 2 things at once. Time was going fast for a few days but now it seems to be slowing down. Suitcases came out yesterday - you can't find the bed in the guest room for all the stuff that they suggest you bring - so I needed a place to start putting it so I can get the rest of the clothes together. I think I have everything that I will need - bubbles, beads, goldcoins(to give to kids), glow in the dark necklaces, and pirate gear. If anyone thinks of anything that they think that most people won't have, let me know!

Ooh - thanks for reminding me. I bought some glow bracelets and braids (never seen those before - DD will love them!) last month to surprise the kids. I've got to dig that box out too! I'm glad to share if anyone wants/needs some - got plenty!

I'm doing the same thing -just chucking it in one place until I can see what I'm missing! :hyper:

Not knowing the time for dinner and rotation is very frustrating! I'm so not thrilled about the idea of a 5:30 pm meal! I hope that we have APL though so we can have the character breakfast on Sunday - I think it will be a great start to things. If only my DS (newly 3) won't freak out at the sight of Mickey. He keeps saying that he doesn't want to hug him so we said he could shake his hand instead. Kieran's response? "No thank you"!

As for the martinis, 4pm Sunday! I'm right there with you on the apple martinis Becky!

At least they were last month...

So we're definitely on for the sail-away party. I was trying to figure out a time that we could all get together in our cabin too when it's a bit less crazy - but I just can't see when without conflicting with something. I know... can't meet everyone's schedules. I thought about Sunday morn but forgot that DH and I are doing the exotic rasul :lovestruc

Maybe Sunday before the martinis?

I just caught up on a few pages of posts - just thought I would chime in. I am already on the lists although - we are from NJ not PA...no biggie.

I am Kelley - traveling with husband Chris - his two daughters Brandi (10) and Kara (8.5) have to add the half - its important! And my mother Denise and his mother Eileen.

I am praying I make it through without jumping off midway! :scared1: Haha just kidding. We have connecting Cat. 10's on deck 2.

Can't wait until we fly out next Friday!

Hey everyone,

I am Cari (29), traveling with DH Zach (30), DD Madison (4.5), and DS Nathaniel (2.5). I am a SAHM, and dh is a Physician Assistant. We are both originally from Northern CA, lived in Brooklyn, NY for awhile, and now we are in Mesa, AZ. We have been on 2 cruises (Carnival) without the kids. This will be our first Disney Cruise. The kids are SO, SO, excited. We have been putting change into a 2 liter soda bottle to have some spending money while on vacation. Everytime they find any change they can't wait to put into the "big boat" bottle. I can't wait to see what we saved. It is pretty full!

Anyway, can't wait to meet all of you.

Cari

The character breakfast is the morning after you are in Animator's Palate for the first time. But this is only on Sea Days.

The character breakfast days are as follows:
APL=Sunday
LAP=Monday
PLA=Thursday (because Tuesday, the day after AP in the rotation, is the St. Maartin day)

So, if you have the PLA rotation (which you will know as soon as you get your KTTW), your breakfast will be on Thursday.

If you have anything else, then you'll be fine.

Please note, when I list the rotations above, I am only listing the first 3 days. Your KTTW will have all 7 days listed.

Lisa,

If you get APL, you will be in AP for Pirate Night and PC for Formal Night.

As for the Martinis, I'm trying to encourage DW to go. I'm not a martini drinker. She doesn't like to go without me, however. We have Palo High Tea that ends at 4:00 that day. So she'd go from Palo to Martinis.

Lisa,

As I said in the prior post, we have PALO high tea on Sunday which ends right before the martinis. We won't be able to do your party. Bummer, I would have loved to see a Cat 2, not to mention to party more with DISers.
