I bought some glow bracelets on Ebay (kids love those things!). But they have some on this site along with glow sticks etc.

The kids are home from school today for 2 inches of snow and ice. Joy for them not so much for me.

My pirate name is Captain Ethel Rackham. What a mouthfull! We just got back from DW today and I can say that I will never go at this time of year again. It was as crowded as when we went in the summer. Wall to wall people with lines over an hour on certain rides. Even with priority seating at the restaurants we waited almost an hour to be seated for every meal. Not impressed with the GF either, so hoping the cruise will be a much better trip. I need a week to relax!

I am sure you will find the cruise very relaxing. One of the things that we enjoy most about the cruise is the opportunity to do as LITTLE as you like. DH and I find our annual cruise a perfect time to decompress from the craziness of our day-to-day life.

Having said that, we were surprised at your post regarding how busy WDW was at this time. Our first trip was during the same week of the year, b/c the travel agent said the weeks after Thanksgiving and before Christmas in Dec tend to be the slowest of the year. We have never stayed at the GF (Poly twice and FW once). I hope we can get together on the ship and talk more about your experience.

Hi guys! I have been MIA lately. Work is crazy with budget time and then there is Christmas.....aaaargh!!

This is our first cruise and I think I am feeling overwhelmed about being prepared enough. Can't believe it will be here so soon and there is so much I haven't done yet! I had a dream last night that I was at work on Friday the 20th at almost 3pm. My parents called to say they were on their way to pick us up to take us to the airport and I didn't have anything packed!!! ok....still have time, relax.....

OK, I'm going to go start a list and feel a little better!

I had almost the same dream! I always have these crazy dreams right before the cruise. Last cruise it was that we got to port and didn't have our birth certificates.

LOL I went to the web sight for Pirate names ... just to see what mine would be. It was Dirty Bess Flint. I don't understand why others would throw me overboard because I smell bad... I marked down I bathed daily. How they get dirty from that I won't know. lol

I really haven't thought about the cruise, until tonight and realized how close it was. I don't even have a bathing suit yet. lol I just finished with my classes at Reading Area Community College and not taking any winter term classes. Just glad to be done until the spring. Looking forward to the Disney Cruise and kicking back and soaking up some sun. What night is the pirate night, does anyone know? Is there somewhere you can go and view a calendar of events? Also my 17 year old daughter will be along too. She loves disney trivia and I know there is a disney trivia but not sure where or when. This is our first cruise and I don't have a clue what I'm doing lol.
