SandieT-- The Spa Villa's are new treatment rooms on the Magic. You can book a single or a couples room. They have a verandah and a spa tub, as well as treatment tables. There have been several threads...some even with pictures. Inkkognito has several photos on her website, as well.

Lisa--- Sounds like a great birthday present for yourself! My DH and I have an anniversary three weeks before the cruise...that's our excuse for booking! :lovestruc

Happy anniversary early! My b-day is while we're on the cruise on the 23rd. I have a hot stone massage booked for that day but would love to do the villa instead.

Thanks for the anniversary wishes, Sandy. And an early Happy Birthday to you! The cruise will be a great way for you to celebrate! :teeth: The hot stone massage sounds wonderful...I've never done one...hmm, something to add to my "must try" list! :earsgirl:

I simply cannot believe how time is clicking right along. It will be our turn before we know it. Iowa is getting snow now making this trip even more exciting. It was still odd to have my new swimsuits delivered this week.

It does seem to get be getting so much closer - but now I'm so excited about this trip, that I can't focus on anything else. LOL!

Everytime my kids see my on the computer, they just say "Disney cruise?". I'm officially gone....

According to my spreadsheet :rotfl2: (told you I was gone...), of those who have identified themselves geographically, we have:

Wisconsin (3)
Minnesota (2)
Michigan (2)
Nebraska
Colorado (so you're the only one thus far!)
North Carolina (3)
Georgia (2)
Iowa
Pennsylvania (2)
Ontario
Wisconsin
?, Canada
New York (2)
Connecticut
Virginia (3)
Arizona
Florida

Hello over here in Colorado. Anyone from this part of the country? Yesterday was around 65 degrees and I woke up this morning to about 6 inches of snow! I secretly love it. It means we stay inside all day and do crafts. (Or clean out the basement, if I can get anyone to help me!)
I have such a pain on the right side of my neck and back that I can not get to go away and my husband finally said, it's from the computer. He's right! He said no computer until your better, ya like that's going to happen. I can't wait for my massage on the Magic, it will be magic!

sandy - thanks! DH and I are doing the stone massages too but with the villa. I can't wait to sit on that balcony with NO children in sight! I love them - but it will be nice to have some quality time.

Question - since January's weather has moved into the midwest a month early, does that mean we can go on our cruise a month early?

I still think we should go on our normal cruise as well. 2 cruises, now that would be the cure for the winter blues.

As I struggle with the christmas tree lights today, I second the vote for moving the cruise to a month earlier. I just cannot wait!

Hi All!

What beaches will you be going to on St. Martin

We are going to take it easy and just go to Great Bay Beach. We did that last time, and had an absolute blast. I know there are more beautiful beaches on the island, but we find it so easy to take the water taxi across the bay and grab a spot to relax.

As you exit the water taxi and head up the pier, you can go to the right or the left. We head to the right, which is away from the popular water trampoline. DS8 is not a great swimmer, so we would not use the tramp. Rather, we sit on the beach, build sand castles, drink rum runners etc!

Last time, we rented two chairs, an umbrella, use of the restaurant bathroom (very clean compared to the public bathroom) and delivery of food/drink right to our chairs on the beach for $10 total! Perfect!!!

BTW, only 45 days to go. Yipee!!! With the low at minus 2.5 degrees right now (7:50 CST), we get more and more excited every day. :earseek: :cheer2: Plus, work is very stressful right now. :badpc: Thinking about the cruise really gets me through the day!

As I sit here dreaming about the cruise to come. I am escaping to Mexico Sunday for a 4 night trip so it will be nice for some warm weather. I can't wait to hear our names announced as we walk on to the ship.......I wish it were tomorrow :sunny: in my dreams..haha

We get a high of 30 here today. Don't think I could handle negative numbers this early in the season. Bundle up and stay warm- :sunny:

:cold: :cold: :cold:

It's -4 here in good old Wisconsin this morning. Lets hurry up and get through the holidays and then ALL stay healthy till we cruise. Craig

Its 10 balmy degrees here in Iowa with a real feel of -1, plus we received another annoying dusting of snow. ARGH!

Forget snow, I want sand, sand, sand!

Howdy Kawaba,

We live in Maple Grove! I know that we are on opposite ends of the Metro, but it was fun to see another Disser in the general area. It will be DH, DS8 and I (DW) on the cruise. We are flying out on Friday on the NWA flight that leaves at 1:25, and are staying at the Marriott MCO that night before heading to the port. What are your travel plans?

Its -12 and I wanna get outta here!!! Its crazy but then again its winter in the Midwest.

We are flying in on Tuesday. It will be DW, DS9, DS4 and myself. We are staying at the Contemporary and enjoying a few days at the parks. My kids would be very unhappy if we flew down to Florida and did not visit Disney World.
