I am new to camping, have a class A and I tend to be the only one in the family who wakes up with the sun.

Is there issues taking my morning coffee and heading outside to sit and relax and let my family sleep in?

We are not taking pups, so it will just be me and a pot of coffee.

We sit outside or take a leisurely stroll with our coffee around 5AM sometimes. :tiptoe:

My typical rising time is 0350. Up and outside for a little fresh air while the Fort is still sleeping. I'm usually out and about by 0330 on the morning I do my half marathon distance looping. Always enjoy seeing the deer roaming around.

1) Strolling inside The Fort is probably one of the best walks you will take (with the exception of Christmas and Halloween evenings).
2) Peaceful.
3) Quiet.
4) USUALLY cooler temps.
5) Bird chirping.
6) Few, if any, kids are awake and running around
7) You can actually TALK to other campers who are enjoying the same thing
8) Camping doesn't get much better than this.

NOTE:
. . . typically, I work an "early shift" when at The Fort (7:00am start-time)
. . . many times I arrive early and "stroll" by myself prior to the shift.
. . . can't take a coffee cup with me, as it is in "poor form" when On Stage, but I have my water bottle which is permitted

Not in the 2000 loop...That morning I went over around 0600 to visit with Snowmedic before he left out and it was a zoo of kids screaming, running, yelling, crying, biting, scratching, bicycle ramps in the road made out of 2x6 boards...it was great!

Now, everywhere else, it is the IDEAL time to go outside and walk around. It is usually quiet, the animals are all moving about (some of my best animal pics were before 0700), and the traffic is not busy. To me it is my favorite part of the trip.

Issues? Not on your life! You would definitely be my kind of camping neighbor! :D

I did get up early so I could enjoy coffee before the head spinning, toy flying, and sounds of torture, started to take place. I only wish the parks that we went to opened before all that happened. But getting out and looping early in the morning was a real treat!

This is why I am having a hard time considering staying a anywhere other than the fort ever again.

You are describing BLISS! Coffee, early morning, cool temps, sounds of nature and snoring squirrels! :squirrel:

I am ok with the water bottle, but in the AM I need my Coffee. Perhaps a bottle (not clear) that can handle the coffee in it! :)

Best time of the day! I walk my dogs around 5am (they don't understand weekends or vacations) and I definitely see people out that early enjoying their quiet time with their coffee.

That ain't snoring, it's the sounds of their metabolism.

If you are out I recommend taking your coffee on the move and catching some sunrise through the trees shots or mist/fog from the canals and lakes.
