I'll be interested to see what I think of this one. In Slant's article, they comment about the use of pop songs to underscore the action -- this was one of my least favorite things about the Shrek flicks (both of which I think are highly overrated). Unfortunately, I see Chicken Little as a Shrek film -- full of pop culture references that will make the film seem outdated in ten years. Then again, maybe my low expectations will make me love this flick...

Yeah there have been a few good reviews for it now, I was just posting the first one I saw come up. But be warned, this movie has an EXTEMELY low rating on RottenTomatoes right now. It might be another Shrek, but Shrek actually had critics to help it out. And I completely agree about the songs, compare the score in this movie to that of Aladdin, Chicken Little gets squashed. And the one thing about Shrek was whlie it had pop mainstream songs, atleast a lot of them were new.
