Early or late reservations???

I am in the process of making my ADR's. We have a breakfast reservation for Rainforest Cafe at 8:00 but Animal Kingdom doesn't open until 9:00. I'm assuming they let us in if they confirm the reservation? Also, if we finish before 9:00 are we allowed to go into the park?

Someone told me that about Crystal Palace in MK, that they let you into the park before it opens as long as you were eating in the restaurant. Just wondering if this was true at the other parks as well.

Yes, you can get in early at the other parks. If you finish before park opening, you are not allowed to roam the parks. Breakfast at Tusker should take you at least an hour, probably a bit longer.

At the Rainforest Café this is really a non-issue because the entrance to the restaurant is outside the park's gates. I don't think they'll let you in to the park early if you finish breakfast before 9:00.

The Rainforest Cafe at AK has an entrance that is outside of the park. As such, you would not get to enter the park early since there is no need to enter the park. There is then a turnstyle at the second entrance to the restaurant that allows access to the park. You will not be allowed early access to the park from there either though if you finish eating ahead of time.
