Early Online Check-in - Why?

We have a trip planned in June, staying at a DVC resort. MDE is already giving is an opportunity for online check-in. Is there any benefit to checking in more than a month before our trip? Any reason to wait?

No benefit to do it early other than it being done.

No reason not to do it ASAP. It’s one less thing to worry about and forget to do.

I did it ASAP to let them know we would be arriving early-no guarantee, but hoping they can be looking for a room that will be available.

No reason not to. And this way you can just relax on arrival day and wait for the text or app notifications for room ready.
