We are starting to plan our next Disney adventure, and are thinking about deviating from our norm a bit.

I want a bit cooler weather than the normal mid 90's we usually have when we do Disney in late Sept. So, we are thinking early November maybe???

Low 80's daytime, and upper 60's night time would be great! Is early Nov. a good time for this or should we bump it back to late Oct. ? :confused3

Our weather was perfect the beginning of November.

Early November is a great time to go. We are going again this November and were also there last November. I was never hot, but just comfortable, which is good enough for me. I HATE the heat (and I live in the Bahamas :goodvibes )

We wore short sleeved shirts and shorts during the daytime. I always carried light jackets with us incase we decided to just stay at the parks. We have a 2 year old DD. I would always carry an extra long sleeved outfit for her for nighttime. It does get cool in the evenings.

Honestly, when I think about walking around DW all day and having to stand in lines every day, I wouldn't want to go anytime before November.

Hope this helps!!!

Thanks so much! And I wanted to tell you that I love your wedding photo. You were a beautiful bride !!

We have gone during various times of the year and found that early November is the BEST! We will be there again this year. There is little to no rain and it is usually a high of about 80. I bring a light jacket or sweatshirt in the knapsack for DS and I for early mornings or late evenings, but DH doesn't need one at all. :flower:

And, I've been twice before in Nov and it was 90 for a few days also and never got below 85 during the day and one trip was the week before Thanksgiving. You never know. We're going again the first week of Nov this year. I've never needed a jacket. We wear shorts the whole time. So, don't count on 80 degrees. It's still a great time of year to go, but the humidity is still there and it is usually warm. But, the best part is in two trips, totalling 14 days, we only had rain on the day we were leaving on the first trip only.

We've been a few times in early November and found the weather to be heavenly! A perfect 80 degrees and blue sky every day, 60's at night. If it did ever rain when we were there, it was overnight.

This trip we're going in early October and I'm starting to worry about the weather. I MUCH prefer early November but this timeframe just worked better for us this year.

ENJOY!!! You'll LOVE it!

I'm glad for the info here. Our family's probably going next fall. We're NOT into heat and crowds. Anyone have feedback on hours of daylight/park hours during this time?

We travel to Disney every November, during the first half of the month. On a few ocassions, we hit temps in the low 90's, but usually, we get low 80's to high 70's with almost no rain. I usually bring one pair of long pants and a jacket or sweatshirt in case of a chilly evening, but almost never need them!

We went in early November last year and had beautiful weather. It was still warm enough for shorts but not hot.

Looks like the avg. high temp. for the first week of Nov. last year was 82 degrees and the avg. low was 66 degrees.

You can search any year or month on that site. Looks like that is about the avg. for the first week of Nov. for the last few years..............2000, 2001 were a little cooler than that.

Have fun. We are planning a Nov. for next year ourselves. I don't like the heat either. :)
