Hi All,

I'll be in the "land" Nov 5th (afternoon) through the 8th (afternoon), a Friday through Monday. I understand this is a time of "average" attendance - but will the weekend be very busy anyways?

Do you think I should do the Fantasmic dessert package as well as the WOC dinner seating - it should save time for touring (and I definitely don't mind the sweets!)?

Does anyone have an idea of what rides will be down other than Small World?

thanks a bunch!

I haven't ever done the Fantasmic dessert package, to me it seems pretty expensive for what it is, even for Disney. My family usually takes a blanket, orders a whole pizza from Pizza Port in Tomorrowland, and have a picnic while waiting for it to start.

For WoC, you'll need a fastpass. You can get one in the morning or by buying the meals. I went last Friday and didn't get there until about 3:30PM and still managed to get a fastpass for the last showing, so I think it really isn't a big deal if you can't get there right in the morning. If you do the meals, I suggest the picnics... even though they aren't the greatest, IMO, they are fast. AND the kids meals come with a light up WoC bracelet :thumbsup2

Weekends are always generally busy. However, the beginning of November should be better than many other weekends.

We have done the Fantasmic Priority seating and really enjoyed it. As a matter of fact, from now on it is doubtful that we would watch Fantasmic any other way. It is expensive but to me it was worth it to have a designated place to sit without waiting for hours. Another thing I enjoyed was being able to stay in our seats for the fireworks. If you do the first show and don't mind watching somewhere besides right in front of the castle the view is really very pretty over the ROA and Mark Twain. Since, for us, Fantasmic is not an absolute necessity this year we will be skipping it and doing WOC since we have never seen it. Not to mention that my bunch is much too restless to sit still through two shows.

Right now here are the refurbishments that I know of:
Star Tours - closes July 26 for refurbishment and addition of elements for Star Tours 2.0. Expected to open in May 20, 2011.
Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin – closed September 20 to December 16 for refurbishment.

We also love the Fantasmic Dessert Package. Not only do you get a nice, "comfy" chair to watch the show, the dessert box is huge (lots of leftovers to put in your hotel fridge), and you can have as much coffee, hot chocolate, pop and bottled water as you would like (within reason, I suppose). They also allow you to stay in your seats to watch the fireworks! Definitely one of our best memories of our last trip!
