Early November trip

Do we know if there will be a parade or fireworks at Disneyland in the early part of November like the 2nd-6th? Also is hyperspace mountain still running at that time?

Trying to know what to expect for an upcoming quick trip

I don't think there will be a parade when you are there, and I am pretty sure that Space Mountain will be down for refurbishment because it will have been the Ghost Galaxy overlay.. and we don't know if after Ghost Galaxy if Hyperspace Mountain will still be around or if it will go back to being the traditional Space Mountain.

And the fireworks may be a hit or miss, it may go back to only being available on the weekend again.

Mickey's Soundsational parade should be running at that time. Fireworks will probably only be on the weekends. The first weekend in November is usually parade filming weekend so things may run a bit differently then.

That first weekend in November is also Dapper Day, so it's likely to be a little busier than usual. Hopefully that will have a good effect on the schedule.

The morning crowds will be low on the 4-5 but expect more than normal people in the afternoon and evenings. Also be prepared for hotels to be completely booked. That's the weekend of blizzcon.
