Anyone know what are the normal operating times for the parks in early November? We'll be doing less park days than usual so I am hoping they aren't super early closings. Thank you.

I think you can check on the Disney Website and see the dates and times. As I recall you can look fairly far ahead. I was there in November and Parks seemed to close around 9:00 to 10:00.

Keep in mind that November 1st there is a Halloween party where the park closes early to people not attending and then the Christmas party starts up so there will be days the park will close early for people without party tickets.

I checked the website but they only posted to September so far. We are going Nov 2-9 and would actually love to go to MVMCP again so that would be a plus if it started during our trip. :)

Take a look at 2013 on easyWDW, that should give you some kind of an idea. I know that when we were there last Nov. 6-12 over Veterans Day weekend there were two nights that the MK had EMH until 2am.

My sister went during that time and she said there were a couple of nights that mk was open till 1am(no Halloween party those nights) but obviously the nights the party is running, they will close earlier to guests not holding tickets. We went the second week of November so it was the start of the mvmcp. And the parks closed at 7pm. But we loved going on the days of the party because the park was not crowded.

Thanks guys! Looks good. :goodvibes Would be nice if DHS was open a little later but if the hours are the same in 2014 we'll be happy. I am crossing my fingers MVMCP starts at the same time. :worship:

We will be going in October. We did the Halloween party last year, and absolutely will not be doing it again. Incredibly long trick or treat lines FULL of adults!

A huge waste of VERY expensive tickets for a few hours.

In planning our 2014 trip we noticed as well that the parks hours calendar is not up yet. I am planning to just use last year's schedule (by day) to predict park hours for the time period. Not sure if the calendar will be up when its 180 days out and we begin making our dining reservations, but that is a HUGE factor when planning where we will eat. We want to catch the extra magic if possible.

The Christmas lights at Hollywood Studios started November 9th this past year. We stayed that extra night on the 9th so we could see them. Also the first MVMCP stated that same night as I recall. Christmas decorations switched from Halloween to Christmas By November 4th. The Castle had all the Christmas lights by the 4th or 5th.

We went October 29-November 9th and it is a great time to go. It is a great time because you see the Halloween and Christmas decorations.

Have fun. I just checked you are right they do not have the times up yet. As I recall the parks closed in that 9 to 10pm range. I just looked to see if I had any paper work from our trip with park closing but I could not find any.

We are looking to go back in November again this year. Perfect time of year to go!

I said the same thing on these message boards after we came back from our Halloween OCtober/November trip. I nearly had my head chopped off by people because I said the same thing about the Halloween party.

I agree. The lines were huge. The parade was nice but it was not worth the extra $230 it cost for the three of us. We loved going this time of year but we will skip the Halloween party.

We also did the free dining. Hoping for the same thing this year like you :)

The hours should be out. The September hours were released the middle of this month, so October should be out in a couple weeks.

The best place to see the hours is the TA calendar, which comes out before the official disney website is updated.

Here is September, when looking for October simply change September in the extension to October:
