early November or early December 2016?

I just wanted to get opinions. I already have an early December trip booked, but I am beginning to panic. I know there are no "low crowds" any more, but this could possibly be our one and only trip. Any advice from people who went last year at these times? I hear that attendance keeps growing.

I would recommend going over early December as all the holiday decorations will be out. You will be able to experience Holidays Around the World at Epcot and could go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Also, early November could be more crowded depending on when you go because the Food and Wine Festival will be winding down and there is a huge marathon to end the event. I would personally stick with early December so you can experience more things. Disney over the holidays is magical.

We pick early December because the holiday decorations are out and free dining.

We are going Dec 1-11 and rent dvc so free dining doesn't factor for us as we save more on accommodations. We went in 2012 for the same period and loved it...albeit there were low crowds then. We love the Christmas decorations and "lower" crowds. Last time crowd levels were at 3/4...this time I think it will be 7/8?

I've been both of those weeks and the crowds to me are similar - not a huge difference (talking 1st week of Dec vs 1st week of Nov). I would base which week on what events are more important to you. 1st week of Nov still has Food and Wine & MK is decorated towards the later part of the week for the holidays. 1st week of Dec has decorations in all parks plus the Epcot Storytellers and Candlelight processional.

We went mid- November is 2014, and then early December in 2015. LOVED being there in December. The crowds were better, too.

We went dec 5-13/15 and crowds were fine. Busier on the last weekend, but waits weren't bad and the decorations & party were awesome. Haven't been in November to compare.

Where did you see 7/8 predictions for December 2016?

Early December is our favorite time to go. Like every one says the parks are decked out for Christmas, so pretty, magical. We have never had a issue with crowds during this time of the year.

How is going mid Nov, like starting the second weekend of the month? We'll be missing the end of F & W, so those crowds won't be around. When is that marathon going on? We'll be going that week this year instead of our early Dec(first or second usually). Is it crazy yet or, crowd wise, as good as early Dec? I figure not as many Xmas things will be up which is disappointing, but this is when we have to go this year, unless something changes. TIA to anyone able to respond! :)

We do really enjoy the early first couple weeks of December, so that'd be my first choice and advice. All of the Christmas stuff is beautiful and so fun, just an extra special touch to our Christmas holidays!

I would pick December, unless the Food and Wine Festival in EPCOT interests you.

Thanks for all the advice. I guess we will stick with December. Unfortunately we won't be able to go to a MVMCP, a little to pricey for us (not unless we win the lottery, lol). Would you recommend us pick MK days on a day the party runs or when it does not? TIA, you guys are the best!!

I haven't but the trend seems to keep going up and the new 5/6 seems to be about 7/8 from 5ish years ago...bigger crowds all around.
