Early November car rental

Has anybody found good prices on a mid-size car rental the beginning of November?

I try to stick to Alamo/National but their rates are ridiculous for 11/7 - 11/12. $282 - $301 and that's with discount codes and coupons

It seems like the rates for September have just started to drop so you're in for a couple of months of fist clenching. I'm waiting for a decent rate for October so we can clench together.

I saw that too. And after using my Sam's club discount I was able to get it to $122 but I've never used Enterprise before. Anyone have any experience with them?

Enterprise is pretty common around these parts, my girlfriend and I have both used them and have had no problems.

I went ahead and booked the Enterprise $139 rate and added a Entertainment Book coupon for a free upgrade.

Hopefully, Alamo/National will lower their rates in the meantime.

Enterprise actually OWNS Alamo and National! It might be the same fleet of cars at the airport.

I knew that Alamo and National are one and the same, but have never heard that Enterprise is connected.
