So I made pre-park opening reservations for Be Our Guest long ago and now there is one of the special Fantasyland events on this morning. How bad is it going to be? Or maybe this is a good thing? Anyone have any advice?

PS-Planning this trip is no longer fun, but it's better than not planning a trip to Disney.

If you actually spend your time in BoG eating breakfast, you won't know the difference.

After breakfast (at actual MK opening time,) if you plan on riding 7DMT, you might find it still busy with the guests from the "early event."

After breakfast (BEFORE actual MK opening time,) if you plan on riding 7DMT, you might find it unavailable, with exclusive entry by the guests from the "early event."

Our plan was to get a good family picture with the castle without a huge crowd in the background. Eat breakfast at BOG and then try to ride these things before it got too terribly crowded:
Little Mermaid, Barnstormer, Dumbo, Pooh, Tea Cups, Carrousel, and Speedway

Have FP+ for Mine Train, Peter Pan, and Space Mountain so I wasn't too concerned about fitting these in before the crowds got there.

We are planning two days at MK. The second day we plan Adventure and Frontier Lands. FP+ for Jungle Cruise, Thunder Mountain, and Splash Mountain.

Should I flip flop these two days?

Flip-flop might be a good plan.

Looking at our plans, flip flopping is not going to work. I have decided not to worry about it. Hoping that those who attend the early morning party will head towards the three mountains after enjoying Mine Train, Peter Pan, and Pooh and not stick around FantasyLand to ride the things I was planning- Little Mermaid, Dumbo, and Barnstormer. May need to have fingers crossed to get a 4th FP+ for Pooh later in the day.

Tomorrow is the 1st (I think) morning event - I would watch here and the blog sites for reviews to see what people experience before revising any of your plans. Some of it will depend on how many tickets they sell, whether these people are still in line for things at rope drop and what those things are, etc.

I'm anxious to hear reports about how things go with this event. We aren't going until August but we have a PPO ADR at BOG (where we will actually eat breakfast) on a Tuesday so we may have to deal with this event if it is extended. No biggie, I'll just want to know what to expect so I can plan accordingly.

Reports of the evening events have said it was not crowded at all. I would imagine the morning events will be similar. I think you'll get your family photo without crowds at the castle and you'll be able to get on your rides just fine as if you were at RD anyway.

With a much lower price point, and inclusion of breakfast, my money is on these events being more popular than the evening ones. I guess we'll know soon enough!

Depends on your definition of "soon enough" I'm so curious about this event, but I suppose getting feedback 5 minutes after the first one begins is a *little* unreasonable to expect! ;)

I too am hoping for some feedback...Heading to Disney in the middle of May and I'm on the fence about Early Morning Magic option...

I think your post BOG breakfast plans are great - I would plan to knock off Under The Sea first (you are close to it) then everything else with Speedway being last (because it takes a long time to ride so you will miss other lines being short) - it will have a 20 minute wait when you get to it but everything else should be practically a walk on in the first hour!

Carousel was tricky for us two weeks ago as the waits quickly swung from 5 minutes to 20 minutes - so if it looks short - hop on! If not - catch it on the rebound!

This is exactly our plan! Fingers crossed that early morning party goers head out of Fantasyland at 9:00.
