Early morning taxi - please help!

I need to take a taxi from AKL to EPCOT this Friday morning for a private event at about 6:15 AM.

Should I ask the front desk to call me a cab, or should I call my own? If so, who? How much will this cost me? I assume by the time the event is over (8:30/9:00), I'll be able to get Disney transportation back to AKL?

www.taxifarefinder.com is usually about right. It is estimating your fare (15% tip included) at ~$28.00. Maybe you could find someone else going to your event who is also staying at AKL and share the ride?

You can call down to bell services and they may have a taxi there who can take you. Otherwise, I don't think it matters much if you call or if they call for you. I would try to firm up an estimate of cost before they take off -- you don't need a scenic route.

There will probably be cabs outside, if not valet services should be able to get you one pretty quick. The fare should be approx $15-$18 plus tip.

i had to take a taxi last week (09/24) from the Beach Club to Typhoon lagoon for surf lessons (another early morning activity).... I simply spoke to "valet" people out front, they made a note that I would need a taxi at ____ time for 1 person. When I went down the next morning I told them who I was, that I had requested a taxi, and it was there within 2 minutes.
