Early Morning Power Walk though DCA

We did the walk last may, it was at 7:30 am & it was for 45 minutes.

It's very nice because the park is empty, be aware that they don't let you bring a camera though :sad2:

:thanks: Is it daily? What about iPods?

I don't know if it is daily, my brother was the one that signed us up for it at the GCH concierge desk. I also don't know about bringing iPods, I don't own one & I really didn't pay attention as to what everyone else had with them.:confused3

I forgot to mention that my boys ages 8 & 5 were no allowed to come with us, there is an age restriction, just keep that in mind.

You don't get enough power from walking around through crowds all day? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Kids have to be 12 or 13 years of age; whatever the age they have to be to use the fitness room (that's what I heard the CM tell a parent who had a child that was one year younger than the minimum age).

They walk really fast. The guy walks faster than the girl (sorry, don't remember their names). I did it twice when I stayed at VGC in April; once with the girl and she was a good walker & talker (I was able to keep up with her). The second time (a few days later), got the guy and I couldn't keep up. :P

I walk fairly fast too. I hope I get the girl though. I like the idea of pre-burning off churro calories. :thumbsup2 I won't be bringing any stinkin' kids. :teeth:

I am planning on leaving the kids with DH.
