Hello! We are leaving for our first trip ever to WDW this Wednesday!
We are very excited. I was hoping someone on here could help me out with a transportation question I have concerning our very first morning. I scheduled a WDW photographer to take photos of our family. They sent me a confirmation telling me to go to the Beach Club and then walk to the International Gateway entrance and the photographer will meet us just inside the gate. We are staying at POFQ. So my questions are: Can I just take the bus to Epcot, enter Epcot through the main gates and walk back to the International Gateway entrance? Is it blocked off because WS won't yet be open? Or do I have to find someway to get to BC from POFQ and use that particular back entry to the park. Our appointment is at 9am and Epcot opens at 9. I don't think the bus starts running until 8, right? I am just really confused as to how I would get to the BC, and then to the back entrance of Epcot in time. I am not sure I can take a taxi because there are 6 of us and I don't have any carseats for the kids. Can someone help me?? Thanks so much!

If it were me, I would take the bus to HS and then the boat to BC or WS entrance. The buses start running pretty early.

The buses will be up and running by 6:30. If you choose the bus route, take the bus to DHS, then walk to the Intl Gateway....about 20 mins or so depending on pace. It's an easy walk...along the canal, behind BW. The boat doesn't start running until about an hour before the park opens. If you get to DHS by 8, you can get on the boat and take that to the Intl Gateway as well. It's about a 25 min boat ride from DHS to the Gateway.
If it were me??? I would be very tempted to just get a cab from FQ to BC, and then walk over to the Gateway.
But, if you don't mind getting up a bit earlier, and taking a bit more time to get there. the bus to DHS and then boat to the Gateway is very pleasant.

Thank you!!! I didn't even think about taking a bus to DHS. That will work great. I will just take the first bus I can get over there and walk to International gateway. We don't mind walking at all and we have a stroller for the little ones anyway. Thank you so much for your help!
